Last year, when the crisis in Japan occurred, Shiori went out and raised money that she donated to Japanese charities by creating a prayer flag created by tracing the hands of everyone who donated. We put together a video of this a while and now she has taken the project to the next level by creating a quilt out of the linen hands. The quilt was displayed at the University of Hawai’i Graduate Exihibition for the last few weeks (it was taken down today) and attracted a lot of onlookers. Enjoy the online mini-gallery!
