HMAUS Springfest May 5th From 0830 to 1430

The awesome Springfest organized by HMAUS is happening again this year at the Kapiolani Community College with the doors opening from 0830 and closing at 1430. There will be a great cast of presenters and teh HAM users of Hawai’i will be present setting up their gear also. Free Legal Clinics In Hawai’i (May 5th from 10am to 2pm)

The Young Lawyers Division of the Hawai’i State Bar Association have put together an amazing legal clinic on the May 5th from 10am to 2pm that will be available for free. A plethora of locations will “lawyer up” and answer a nice variety of questions you might have about laws and how they affect you.

Bluetooth OnOff Permanently Set To Off

I recently wrote about a [cool iOS app called Bluetooth OnOff](http://jeromekoehler.com/2012/04/18/turn-your-bluetooth-onoff/ “bluetooth onoff review) and I loved the app as it simplified a task that usually takes about about four to five taps. I jokingly stated that it was more than likely going to be pulled off of the app store, and lo and behold, it is now off of the app store due to it using a private API that Apple frowns upon. From what I can tell, if you have already purchased it, you can re-download the app.

It was fun while it lasted. Enjoy!

Turn Your Bluetooth OnOff

It looks like another app made it through the app store approval process that allows for an easy way to turn on and off your iPhone’s bluetooth radio. I would recommend spending the 99 cent to purchase as I don’t know how long this will last on the app store.

rComplex Running Amuck (Quick Review)

With the plethora of games that started life out as Flash games that were then converted to iOS games, rComplex is one of the best. This game has you running for your life, not endlessly, with a set goal in mind and with a huge mass of tentacles wanting to strangle the life out of you. Luckily, you have a shotgun and a scythe that will protect you. For only $1.99 for an universal game, I have to say I did get my monies worth even though the game is rather hard.

Mameshiba Catch Quick Review

The Japanese have some interesting cartoon characters in their country and Mameshiba is one of them. So, what is Mameshiba? It is a combination of both a soy bean and a dog. They released a little game for iOS that allows you to catch all the characters in the Mameshiba universe and each has this utterly cute saying. This was one of hte more interesting quick reviews I have created just due to the type game and the music and soundeffects that are present.
